About the role

Styleside Cabinets is seeking an experienced Senior Cabinet Maker to join our talented team based in Malaga, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture using advanced woodworking techniques.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting design specifications and producing detailed cabinet and furniture pieces to client requirements

Operating a range of woodworking machinery and tools to shape, assemble and finish cabinetry and furniture

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or defects throughout the production process

Collaborating with designers, project managers and other tradespeople to ensure the timely delivery of projects

Mentoring and training junior cabinet makers to develop their skills

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) as a skilled cabinet maker, with a strong understanding of design principles, woodworking techniques and materials

Demonstrated expertise in the use of stationary and portable power tools, as well as hand tools

Strong problem-solving, decision-making and attention to detail skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with the wider project team

A keen eye for quality and the ability to produce flawless, precision-made cabinets and furniture

Trade qualification in cabinet making or a related discipline

Full rights to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
