About the Opportunity

Are you a passionate Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference in your community? Join the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) as a Community Care Registered Nurse and bring compassionate care directly to those who need it most.

As a Community Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the delivery of nursing services to individuals and families who have continuing support needs. You will take a proactive role in driving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen service delivery and achieve improved health outcomes for the community.

As the Community Care Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based care within contemporary models of practice. Ensure governance processes are in place, including timely and appropriate responses to incidents, complaints, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of safety and learning.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Current authority to practice unrestricted as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Class C drivers licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Community Nursing.
