Two Before Ten is need a sous chef to join our team in Greenway; We require a person who is excited about creating a food vibe that matches the quality of our coffee, staff and importantly, our ethos.
Position is based in Greenway

Work with other staff and fellow managers in the group to deliver a product consistent with the aims of our group.
Our Aranda Urban Farm supports our cafes by growing fresh, sustainable produce throughout the year. From mixed lettuce, to cherry trees and sweet corn crops, the farm helps reduce our packaging and food miles as well as turning the compostable green-waste from our cafes back into productive fruit and veg in a sustainable circular system.
For us, business is about engaging with our clients on product, service and knowledge to help them be as successful as possible so they may then give back to the communities that support them. Responsibilities
Work under the management of the head chef
Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of service.
Estimate amounts and cost of required supplies, such as food ingredients, efficiently.
Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations.
Arrange equipment purchases and repairs.
Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for catering orders.
Maintain and follow WHS procedures.
Check the quantity and quality of received products.
Work with the team to coordinate planning, budgeting, and purchasing of food operations.
Plan, direct, and supervise the food preparation and cooking activities when on shift.
Skills and Experience Required
Relevant trade qualification or work experience in lieu
