Opportunities exist for Support Workers to assist a client live his best life on the western side of Kangaroo Island. We are seeking new or experienced Support Workers

We have several opportunities for support workers to join our Kangaroo Island roster and work active overnight and day shifts.

You will be required to assist our client who has a high-level spinal cord injury with all aspects of his care needs.

Accommodation provided.

Suitable applicants will already have or be willing to obtain:

• Certificate III in Individual Supports, Disability Cert IV or equivalent or enrol in a course to obtain a relevant qualification
• NDIS Worker Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR certificate
• Manual Handling certificate
• Reliable vehicle, sound driving history and a valid driver's licence
• Clear communication, negotiating and listening skills.
• Experience in supporting a client with a spinal cord injury highly regarded
• Have a person-centred approach and are confident in your practice
• Right to work and available for immediate start.

Our Commitment to you is to provide you with the following:

• Shared Accommodation - offsite
• Travel expenses (KM's from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island including ferry to & from the island)
• Base Rate minimum $50 per hour
• Additional training that is relevant to our clients' individual needs
• Training and ongoing support
• Regular and ongoing shifts to suit your requirements and lifestyle
