Assistant Manager | Palm Beach Hotel

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Palm Beach Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

A stone’s throw away from the white sandy shoreline, Palm Beach Hotel is a local favourite along the coast. Inspired by our local surroundings and producers, we believe in sourcing our food locally and sustainably. Our Bistro has something for everyone, including fresh seafood, steaks, pastas, salads and all the pub classics you know and love. We have a dedicated kids menu for our youngest guests to keep everyone happy, plus a delicious and affordable seniors menu.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
