Meraki Allied Health is a small therapy provider, providing Psychology, Assessments, Play Therapies, and Positive Behaviour Support. We are currently looking to fill at least TWO roles.
1 x Play Therapist (Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist)
LOCATION: GOSNELLS
Work days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
1x Psychologist (Registered or Provisional)
LOCATION: SECRET HARBOUR
Work days: Negotiable
What is the role - Play Therapist (Gosnells):
3 days per week at our Play Room in Gosnells - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Weekend work is likely available, however is optional.
You will be servicing NDIS and private paying clients.
Meraki values a child-led approach, however embrace all types of play-based therapies.
Depending on your professional background, work outside of play-based therapies may arise (if desired).
You will work with children and their caregivers providing both 1:1 therapy with the child and parent/caregiver/family/network support.
Community based and telehealth sessions may arise on an ad-hoc basis.
Client note taking and report writing, including NDIS progress reports, recommendation letters, and behaviour support plans
What is the role - Psychologist (Secret Harbour):
This role commences at a minimum of 3 days per week with opportunity to increase working days and is based at our Secret Harbour office.
You will be servicing NDIS and private paying clients.
You will provide Psychological services and potentially Positive Behaviour Support - as per demand.
Psychological services includes play-based therapy, counselling and potentially assessment services.
Whilst Meraki has a focus on working with children and their caregivers, you will also work with adolescents and adults as per demand.
You will work with the client and their support systems in various environments which may include their home, school and telehealth.
Client note taking and report writing, including NDIS progress reports, recommendation letters, and behaviour support plans.
Opportunities for provision of assessment services is likely, depending on applicant interests. This is predominately Autism and ADHD assessments.

Who we are looking for:
Applicants with a strong work ethic, focus on clients, and who values a strengths-based and playful approach to therapy
Someone comfortable working with autonomy
Experience working with Neurodiverse clients
Experience working with children and families
NDIS experience preferred
Registration as a PBS Practitioner within the NDIS Commission Framework is preferred
Must have a drivers license and vehicle with appropriate insurances
WWCC or willing to obtain
Registration with relevant authority (AHPRA, AASW)
Provisional Psychologists encouraged to apply
