Your new role

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced truck operator seeking to step up into a specialised civil machinery role. Working as part of a skilled and collaborative crew, the Stabiliser Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Wirtgen stabiliser on road construction and rehabilitation projects across Adelaide and regional South Australia. The role involves blending precision operation with practical problem-solving to deliver high-quality, efficient, and sustainable pavement outcomes. Approximately half of the work will be regional, with travel allowances and penalties provided. The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting the company's commitment to innovation and reliability, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. This role is ideal for a motivated operator ready to expand their skillset within a well-supported team environment focused on growth, training, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous experience operating trucks within a civil construction environment highly advantageous
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialised stabiliser operations
• Ability to work effectively within a small, skilled crew on regional and metro projects
• Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Sound communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Current HR licence required, HC advantageous
• White Card and relevant plant operating tickets desirable
• Willingness to travel regionally with applicable allowances and penalties
• Desire for long-term career development through structured training and upskilling opportunities
