Paradise Lakes Care Centre is seeking a compassionate and detail-focused Quality and Assessment Registered Nurse to help deliver outstanding care, maintain compliance, and lead continuous improvement across our aged care facility.

About the Role
Reporting to the Care Manager, the Quality and Assessment RN will lead ongoing quality initiatives and clinical reviews while supporting the team in delivering high-quality, individualised care.
You will:
• Conduct and review comprehensive clinical assessments in consultation with residents and their representatives
• Facilitate regular care plan reviews to ensure care remains person-centred, responsive, and compliant
• Drive continuous improvement across the facility to ensure we maintain full residential aged care accreditation
• Maintain our Plan for Continuous Improvement
• Monitor compliance, manage risks, and support the clinical team in best practices
• Coordinate internal audits and quality reviews
• Support accurate documentation to align with AN-ACC funding requirements
• Mentor and support care staff in clinical governance and documentation standards
• Contribute to accreditation readiness and respond to quality indicators
About You
Essential:
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years' clinical experience in aged care
• Demonstrated experience in clinical assessment, care planning, and quality improvement
• Solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care accreditation processes
• High attention to detail, time management, and documentation accuracy
• Confident communicator and mentor
• Proficient in clinical systems and digital documentation
• Australian citizenship, PR, or valid work rights
Desirable:
• Prior experience in a Quality or Compliance-focused nursing role
• Familiarity with AN-ACC funding and assessment
• Familiarity with continuous improvement or audit tools in aged care
