Normet is on the lookout for an energetic and hard-working Production Worker with a can-do attitude to join the team in our Wangara Branch.
As one of our Production Workers, you will be responsible for assisting with the production of Normets Rock Bolts.

What we offer
Full-time permanent position I Monday to Thursday I 5:45am - 2pm and 5:45am – 1:15pm on Fridays

Duties
Conduct all production related activities in compliance with operational procedures and Job Safety Analysis including:
Conduct and record all “1st - off” and in-process checks; and Label and/or mark products correctly.
Dispose of used and waste products correctly and in a timely manner.
Maintaining a safe working environment ensuring near misses, hazardous issues, and incidents are reported to your line manager as soon as practicable.
Advise line manager if raw material stock levels aren't at the required stock level
Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane.
About You
Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
The ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
The ability to understand and follow procedures and production standards
To be proactive, flexible, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
Good attention to detail and be comfortable with repetitive work
To be a good team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
This role involves manual handling and physical tasks, so a good level of physical fitness is required
Forklift license is desirable but not essential
A strong safety focus
Full working rights in Australia
The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
