About the work

Please note the work that we do is repetitive in nature and physically demanding but if you think you have the grit and work ethic to succeed in this industry we would love you to apply.

We currently have 2 positions to be filled, so if you have a passion for timber or are production focused please reach out, we would love to chat!

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience with machines preferred but not essential

Basic ability to calculate sums and understand figures.

Basic understanding of reading and writing

Fork lift license preferred but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

Tailing out on timber processing machines, maneuvering boards of timber up to 10kg each

Being an integral part of a fast moving production line

Stacking, wrapping and strapping packs of timber by hand

Grading timber that is fed through the machines and grading timber as it comes out the machine. Taught on site

Learning how to set machines and make necessary adjustments as needed. Taught on site

Suggesting ideas that will help improve overall efficiencies

Working in a safe manner always.
