About the role

We are seeking experienced Licensed Plumbers to support camp and non-process infrastructure, with a strong focus on waste water treatment plants (WWTP) and reverse osmosis (RO) potable water systems. You’ll keep critical utilities compliant and running reliably across a busy iron ore operation.

Key responsibilities

Operate, monitor and maintain WWTP (biological processes, clarifiers, dosing, sludge handling)

Operate and maintain RO plants (pre-treatment, membrane performance, CIP/backwash, dosing & disinfection)

Conduct routine sampling, field testing and record-keeping (turbidity, pH, residuals, conductivity, flow)

Troubleshoot process upsets; optimise chemical dosing and plant performance to meet licence limits

Maintain potable water reticulation, hot water systems, backflow devices and sewer/stormwater networks

Service pumps, valves, dosing skids, instrumentation and associated electrical/mechanical interfaces (with trades support)

Perform poly welding/repair of PE lines; minor civil works for trenches and reinstatement

Complete permits, JSAs, logbooks and environmental/compliance reports; support audits

Participate in after-hours call-outs as required to maintain continuity of service

What you’ll need

WA Plumbing Trades Licence (unrestricted) – essential

Demonstrated WWTP and RO plant experience on remote/industrial sites – essential

White Card; current First Aid & CPR

Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres (highly regarded)

Backflow endorsement & TMV (desirable)

Poly welding competency (desirable)

C Class manual licence; HR preferred

Strong safety mindset and ability to work autonomously in remote conditions

Able to pass full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screen

Available for immediate FIFO mobilisation
