Based in Sydney CBD, they are not just growing, they are redefining what it means to partner with clients. They are looking for an innovative and strategic leader to join their team as a full-time Director in Tax Advisory for Private Clients.

This role is for someone who is ready to take our growing function to the next level. You will be a key player in shaping their future, leading both the team and the strategic direction of their tax and transactions services.

Are you the leader they're looking for?

You are a seasoned professional with CA/CPA 10+ years of experience in private client tax advisory. You have a proven track record of managing complex portfolios and a deep understanding of tax planning, structuring, and regulations. You're more than just a technical expert; you're a strategic thinker and a natural leader who thrives on building strong relationships with clients and internal advisers.

Your mission:

Be the expert: Act as the go-to authority on tax issues and solutions, providing top-tier advice to both private clients and internal teams.

Drive growth: Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for our tax and transactions function.

Develop talent: Mentor and build up our junior team members, helping them become the best tax professionals they can be.

Lead strategically: Demonstrate senior management level leadership experience to effectively guide and develop the team.

Innovate: Devise and lead our tax education strategy, including in-house and external training, to keep our team at the forefront of the industry.

Your Expertise:

Taxation planning & optimisation

Taxation structuring & advice (including Indirect, International, and M&A)

Due Diligence

Tax consolidation & Division 7A

Trust taxation & Employee Share Schemes
