Skillinvest is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a position with one of Victoria's leading providers in road maintenance, construction and civil works. Based in Echuca, you'll be part of a supportive and dynamic crew, working outdoors and operating a range of tools and machinery to help maintain our road networks.

BENEFITS

• Casual (regular 38 hours/week)
• Base $37.26 per hour + overtime available
• PPE supplied & maintained annually

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Manual Labour
• Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials
• Routine road maintenance and emergency response
• Truck driving and obstruction removal
• Use of power tools and machinery

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Construction Induction White Card
• Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence
• Traffic Management Certificates (TC1/2& TMI1/2 at minimum)
• Demonstrated experience in road or civil works
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Available for after-hours emergency call-outs

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Plant Operator Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Chainsaw and Polesaw Training

Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Police Check and Driver History Check.
