About the role

MBR Health is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team in Mermaid Beach, Queensland. As a full-time OR part-time Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients. What you'll be doing

Performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal.

Demonstrated experience in obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal ultrasound modalities is essential.

Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for patients

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation

In close collaboration with our on-site radiologist and a skilled team of radiographers, sonographer, and nurses

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

A Bachelor or post graduate university degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound

Current registration with ASAR (Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient-centred care

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and technology

Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement

Must have current Australian work authorisation
