About the Role:

As a leading Australian manufacturer in the fastener and hot forging industry, E.J Hadaway is seeking an energetic and motivated person to join our team in Dandenong South.

This is a full-time role offering a unique opportunity to work within a small, experienced team and learn hot forging, bending and press tool techniques from highly skilled Blacksmiths.

About the Role

As a part of our hot Forging team, you will be responsible for operating various types of hot forging and cold press machinery to manufacture custom products.

You will learn the proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools.

You will perform quality control checks, use hand tools, maintain OH&S standards and work closely with other team members to produce quality products.

Working day shift Monday- Friday with some overtime available.

Key Responsibilities

Operate hot forging and cold press machinery safely and efficiently

Perform regular quality control checks to maintain high standards

Use hand tools and equipment for daily tasks

Communicate effectively with other team members

Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations

Job Requirements

Experience in machine operation and machinery usage

Ability to read and understand product drawings

Proficiency in quality control processes

Ability to use hand tools effectively

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Prior experience in fabrication or steel manufacturing environment (preferred)

Physically capable of manual labour, including lifting heavy objects

Reliable transport is required.
