About the role:
Drake Medox is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) to provide clinical support and guidance to our complex care clients and their support team. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and reviewing client care plans and clinical documentation;
- Identifying, assessing, and remediating any clinical matters, obstacles and barriers impacting on clients' care;
- Facilitating inductions, education and training workshops for our support staff to upskill and enhance professional development;
- Conducting clinical competency assessments for our support staff;
- Managing stock orders for our clients;
- Reviewing client progress notes;
- Managing clinical compliance for all clients;
- Liaising with allied health, support coordinators and other external stakeholders; and
- Visiting clients regularly using company vehicle
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (with nil restrictions);
- A passion for health education, demonstrating skills in health assessment, planning and goal setting;
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written), organisational and computer skills;
- The ability to work remotely and autonomously when required; and
- An understanding of NDIS/NIISQ and other funding bodies (desirable)
