About the Role

As a Family Support Practitioner, you will provide in-home, child-focused support to families experiencing challenges. Your goal is to help keep children safely at home by strengthening parenting capacity, improving home environments, and addressing risk factors.

You will work collaboratively with families, community agencies, and government services to assess needs, develop case plans, and deliver practical and therapeutic support. This role is key in building safety, stability, and stronger family relationships.

Qualifications, Credentials and Other Requirements

• Current Blue Card
• Current QLD Driver Licence vehicle
• Current National Police Check
• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Behavioural Science or similar field
• Knowledge of the Child Protection Act 1999
• Case management skills including case planning
• Knowledge of services relevant to client's needs within the local area (desired)
