In this role, you will plan and deliver comprehensive patient care across a variety of settings, including the state-of-the-art Griffith Base Hospital. About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join us in this critical role to provide, plan and deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to patients and clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD).
As the Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively and where appropriate lead the multidisciplinary team to optimise health status and well-being of each client/patient and carer in the optimum environment and facilitate safe and timely discharge from the service.
- Maintaining appropriate and accurate activity statistics and documentation.
- Providing high level clinical expertise and knowledge in their specialty area (which may include generalist practice) within MLHD
- Working across both the inpatient and outpatient areas

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (until 28 June 2026 with possibility of extension)
Position Classification: Physiotherapist – Level 3
Remuneration: $112,396.00 - $116,038.00 per annum (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Tertiary Qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
- Advanced knowledge, skills, clinical experience and ability to provide patient-centred, evidence-based Physiotherapy services across a range of clinical areas and a willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
- Excellence in communication skills, including the skills required for interacting constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
