WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team at Strathalbyn Hospital and play a key role in enhancing the health, independence, and quality of life of older adults. As an Occupational Therapist within the Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit, you will deliver comprehensive, client-centred therapy services to patients, supporting their self-care, mobility, and functional goals. This temporary part-time role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and participate in professional development opportunities while making a meaningful impact in the regional community.

The Fleurieu Peninsula is just one hour for the city of Adelaide. HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions for GEM Unit patients, promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Coordinate and manage a caseload, ensuring timely referrals, accurate documentation, and collaborative care planning.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement integrated care plans and innovative OT programs.
- Participate in quality improvement, research activities, and professional development initiatives to enhance service delivery.
