In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for the direct care of our residents ensuring they are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment. We are looking for 3 X casual employees to work multiple shifts across a fortnightly roster. The individual will be located at the Campbell Facility.

The Role

This role is a casual role for, and we are looking for 3 X care service employees. This is position for an immediate start. The role is based at our Campbell Residential Aged Care- 2 White Crescent, Campbell ACT 2612.

The shifts will be on Week 1 and Week 2 roster for the following below:

Must be available to work on various shifts AM, PM, Night Monday to Sunday over a fortnightly roster.

Please note: Only candidates with full Australian working rights will be considered.

As a Care Service Employee, you will:

Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities

Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing

Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty

Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the resident's comfort

Assist in mealtimes and social activities.

Requirements

Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.

Experience in similar role in aged care

A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity

Able to do night shifts

Must have a full working rights
