What You?ll Be Doing

As a Front End Developer in our Engineering Team, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain secure, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces for our superannuation and payroll reporting platform
• Deliver high-quality front-end code for new features and enhancements using modern frameworks (React preferred, Angular also valued)
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Backend, and Implementation teams to turn requirements into reliable, reusable solutions
• Champion front-end standards, including component libraries, design systems, code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Implement automated testing (unit, integration, UI) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
• Transform user, business, and technical requirements into effective UI solutions that prioritise usability, accessibility, performance, and security.
• Proactively identify and manage technical debt, and contribute to architecture discussions
• Support production incidents affecting the UI, including triage and root cause analysis
• Actively participate in team learning and knowledge sharing

What We?re Looking For

• 3+ years? front-end development experience delivering production web applications
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with React (preferred) or Angular, and their core principles
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and micro frontends/microservices-friendly UI patterns
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+), performance optimisation, and secure coding practices
• Familiarity with modern build tools and pipelines (e.g., Vite, NPM/Yarn, Git, CI/CD)
• Testing experience (e.g., Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library)
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, customer-centred mindset
