You will provide specialised nursing care to critically ill and ventilated patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and deliver exceptional care aligned with our hospital's person-centred values.

💊 Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill and ventilated patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced life support and invasive monitoring
• Administer medications, infusions, and titrate vasoactive agents as prescribed
• Collaborate with ICU Consultants, Allied Health, and Support Services to ensure holistic care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
• Support and mentor junior nursing staff and students
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold infection control standards

💡 Required Skills & Competencies

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a critical care or ICU environment
• Demonstrated competency in managing mechanically ventilated patients
• Sound knowledge of haemodynamic monitoring and critical care pharmacology
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing (or working towards) highly regarded
