Are you passionate about making a genuine impact and creating inclusive employment opportunities? Civic Disability Services is seeking a number of dynamic and motivated Job Coach's to support individuals with disability in preparing for, securing, and thriving in meaningful open employment through the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Job Coach you will help individuals identify their aspirations, build skills and job-readiness, and guide them through the recruitment process—from interview preparation to securing and sustaining meaningful open employment.
You’ll also collaborate with prospective employers to understand their workforce needs and connect them with suitable candidates, promoting inclusive hiring practices and sustainable employment outcomes.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing a caseload of participants, working closely to identify goals and deliver personalised employment support.
Conducting assessments and developing tailored job plans that align with individual aspirations and strengths.
Providing career guidance, assisting with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
Offering in-employment support through regular check-ins with participants and employers to ensure successful job integration.
Monitoring progress and adapting support plans to maximise open employment outcomes and retention.
We’re looking for someone who is driven to transform lives through a human-centred approach, tailoring support to each individual and thinking creatively about how open employment can make a real difference. You will be tenacious, yet compassionate, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with participants, local employers and community partners to create inclusive and sustainable job opportunities.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
You will possess:
Previous experience is customer services, job coaching, disability support or a related field.
Certificate III or IV in Disability Services, Individual Support, Employment Services, or willingness to obtain.
Experience working with people with disability and knowledge of inclusive employment practices.
Unrestricted Drivers Licence.

Supporting your health
Civic provides a range of individualised supports to complete everyday personal activities, thereby assisting in the transition to more independent living. Experienced Civic staff use a Person Centred Active Support (PCAS) approach with a range of living activities.
Do you need assistance with day-to-day personal activities?
Civic can provide help with dressing, feeding, toileting, administration and monitoring of medicines. We can provide support with shopping, domestic assistance, gardening and home maintenance services and other day-to-day tasks.
We can assist with activities like:
Personal hygiene
Bathroom assistance
Eating and drinking
Mobility and transferring
Administration of medicines
Home help
Attending medical appointments
Weight management including personal training
Use of aids and appliances
Other day-to-day tasks
