About the role

MJ Smith Ground Preparation Pty Ltd is seeking two experienced Semi Truck Driver's to join our dynamic civil construction team in Dalby, Queensland. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, operating heavy vehicles at worksites. This is a casual/fulltime position that offers competitive remuneration and excellent career progression opportunities.

THIS IS NOT A FLY IN FLY OUT POSITION

What you'll be doing

Safely operate a range of heavy vehicles, including Prime Mover with water tanker, Prime Mover with Semi Trailer on construction and gas sites

Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain vehicles in line with safety and compliance requirements

Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles as needed

Liaise with site supervisor and construction manager

Comply with all relevant workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Truck Driver in the civil construction industry

A current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Strong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance and safety protocols

Excellent time management and communication skills

A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving

A commitment to working safely and adhering to workplace policies and procedures

Applicant must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and complete client and company inductions

Drivers must comply with drug and alcohol testing

Current drivers record must be provided
