Position Overview: Electrician

We are seeking a qualified and licensed electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding work across residential, commercial, and light industrial sites. You will ensure all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Australian Standards and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs in accordance with current standards and codes.

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs

Ensure installations comply with Queensland / Australian electrical / safety / building codes and standards

Work with project teams, site managers, engineers

Document work, complete testing reports, quality checks

Assist or supervise junior / apprentice staff

Required Qualifications / Skills:

Queensland electrical licence

Prior experience in battery / solar / energy storage / inverter / hybrid systems

Relevant certifications (e.g. CEC accreditation, solar / battery installer credentials)

Strong knowledge of Australian electrical codes, safety standards

Willingness to travel locally across Brisbane / SE QLD

Tools, PPE, reliable transport

Good communication, reporting, time management

Desirable / Bonus:

Experience with high voltage / DC battery systems

Familiarity with grid integration / battery control software

Certifications like “Working at Heights”, “Confined Spaces”, etc
