Data Centre Cabling Technician

The Company

Australia Wide Trades Recruitment are seeking Cabling Technicians to join our client. They are a national, award winning telecommunications company delivering high-quality data and fibre cabling solutions in the commercial, government, and defence sectors. The position requirements include but are not limited to:

• Install structured data cabling systems, including Cat6, Cat6A, fibre, and security cabling
• Set up and install communications racks, including patching and installation of associated network hardware
• Perform testing and commissioning of copper and fibre cabling
• Strictly following and driving all required safety and security procedures

To be considered for this role you should ideally possess the following:

• Electrical trade qualification or ACRS Master Cabler Licence essential; NV1 Security Clearance also advantageous (or ability & willingness to obtain)
• Accredited installer of Netconnect, Systimax, Panduit, Siemon, Molex, or R&M highly regarded
• Proven experience with cable installation and commissioning in a data centre environment
• A current White Card, EWP licence, and driver's licence with access to reliable transport
• Willingness to work overtime and perform ad hoc duties as required

Hours & Rates

Day shift hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm (flexibility for earlier start & finish)

$51.45p/hr + allowances + OT + RDO's + super
