ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative programs that support children to explore and engage in play-based learning.

You will:

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and supportive environment, following the ELYF
• Assist children with their daily routines and support them in their learning
• Communicate professionally with children, families, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Deliver fun and engaging programs and activities, ensuring a welcoming and inspiring environment to support children’s development
• Maintain accurate records and follow policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development as required

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma of Children’s Services or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA
• Current Blue Card
• Current first aid – including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training
• Police Check
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Knowledge of Licencing and Regulations Requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to child safety and food handling
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge and attend additional training as necessary
