We have twelve residential homes located at Sinnamon Village, Chermside and Bray Park. Our homes have a diverse range of residents which provides numerous opportunities for our passionate employees to connect and grow meaningful relationships while supporting their quality of life.

Your Role as Personal Carer

You’ll deliver person-centred services across Sinnamon Park neighbourhood community like environment for residents aged care facilities, disability, community services, and wellbeing settings.

You’ll deliver a high quality service to care recipients in a neighbourhood community like environment for residents including cleaning, catering, assisting with mealtimes and with general mobility.

You will build positive, respectful relationships with care recipients, their families, and colleagues, responding promptly to any concerns

Deliver warm, customer-focused care that supports a welcoming and inclusive home environment

Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meals, and mobility, promoting independence and dignity

Actively participate in quality improvement by sharing ideas and accurately reporting resident wellbeing to the care team

Prioritise health and safety for yourself and others while putting the Eden Domains of wellbeing into practice

What We’re Looking For

A compassionate and enthusiastic Personal Carer with relevant qualifications

The ability to provide personal care in a friendly, community-like environment

Confidence using technology such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

A customer-focused Personal Carer with a genuine desire to support others with sensitivity and understanding

Essential Requirements

Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)

Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.

Ability to work across a rotating roster across 7 days a week
