We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Demolition Foreman to join our demolition crew. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating a range of heavy machinery to safely and efficiently demolish residential, commercial, and industrial structures. You will work on-site under the guidance of a Site Supervisor and as part of a team committed to high safety standards and quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Operate demolition machinery such as Excavators, Skid Steers, Front-End & Loaders

Carry out safe structural dismantling of buildings and infrastructure

Asbestos Removal all training provided

Load and sort demolition debris for recycling and disposal

Perform daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance on equipment

Follow all site safety protocols, including SWMS, JHAs, and traffic management plans

Work collaboratively with ground crew, spotters, and supervisors

Assist with general labouring duties when required (site clean-up, fencing, etc.)

Report equipment issues, hazards, or incidents in a timely manner

Skills & Experience

Proven experience operating plant equipment in a demolition or construction environment

Current Plant Operator Tickets (e.g. Excavator, Skid Steer, Loader)

HR driver’s licence (Essential)

Experience in demolition waste transport a bonus

Physically fit for demolition and Asbestos removal and able to work in outdoor conditions and around heavy machinery

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Qualifications

Asbestos Removal (Class B) certification

Construction Induction Card (White Card)

High Risk Work Licence (e.g. Dogging, Rigging, EWP)

Confined Space or Working at Heights training

NPC essential
