About Strategy and Performance Accountability

Strategy and Performance Accountability works collaboratively with all business areas to deliver whole-of-agency key objectives enabling a unified approach. This includes leading the agency in meeting and upholding corporate, legislative and social obligations, and supporting business areas to do the same through capacity building and guidance.

In addition to internal partners, we work closely with partners in the cultural statutory authorities and across government to deliver shared outcomes and benefits for our stakeholders and the community.

Strategy and Performance Accountability consists of the following functions:

corporate governance, risk and audit

strategic policy development and coordination

strategy and transformation

project management and performance analysis and reporting

Child Safeguarding Implementation Unit.

About the role

Permanent | Full Time | 75 hours per fortnight | Commencing January 2026

As the Manager Risk and Business Continuity, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing the CITS Risk Management Framework and overseeing the business continuity program. You will work closely with directorates and senior stakeholders to embed best practice approaches, support risk identification and mitigation, and ensure continuity planning is fit for purpose in a dynamic operating environment.

In this role, you will:

Design, implement, and maintain the CITS Risk Management Framework in line with ISO 31000 and Treasurer’s Instructions.

Lead the coordination and continuous improvement of the business continuity program, aligned with ISO 22301.

Partner with directorates to support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Provide expert advice and guidance on risk and continuity matters to senior stakeholders.

Build risk maturity and resilience across the organisation through training, communication, and culture-building initiatives.
