In-House Accountant | Toowoomba (Hybrid)

We’re representing a highly regarded professional services group based in Toowoomba that’s looking for an experienced In-House Accountant to take ownership of their internal accounting function.

This is a hands-on role working closely with the Managing Director across a portfolio of entities, including primary production and professional services businesses. The successful candidate will enjoy variety, autonomy, and flexibility within a stable, values-driven business.

The Role

This position will suit someone who enjoys end-to-end accounting and working in a trusted, collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include:

Managing bookkeeping across several entities.

Processing payroll and maintaining compliance.

Overseeing accounts payable and receivable.

Producing monthly management reports and providing insights to Directors.

Preparing end-of-year financials and reconciliations.

Partnering with the MD on financial strategy, cash flow, and ad hoc projects.
