The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Chief of Staff to support the Chief Operations Officer (COO) in driving strategic, operational, and cross-border initiatives. This senior role ensures alignment between Australian and Indonesian business operations, manages executive communications, and provides high-level governance and project oversight.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in International Law, Banking, Governance, and the Resources/Energy sector, and possess fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesian.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the COO to manage strategic priorities, governance initiatives, and executive projects across Australia and Indonesia.

Act as the primary liaison with government, legal, and industry stakeholders, fostering strong international relationships.

Oversee preparation of executive documentation, reports, and presentations aligned with Australian and Indonesian legal frameworks.

Coordinate high-level meetings, ensuring alignment with business strategy and timely delivery of outcomes.

Provide strategic advice and analysis to support executive decision-making and business growth.

Monitor key projects and initiatives, ensuring effective communication and delivery against objectives.

Uphold confidentiality and professional integrity in all business dealings.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in International Law (mandatory).

Proven experience in senior executive support, governance, or corporate operations within international or cross-cultural environments.

Strong understanding of Indonesian business, legal, and government systems.

Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian.

Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple strategic priorities.
