Our Stepney warehouse is a busy, fast-paced environment, and we’re seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage incoming stock and support efficient warehouse operations.

Role Overview
The Warehouse Receiver & Stock Controller will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of stock through our warehouse and across multiple sites. You will be responsible for receiving and checking deliveries (including imported goods), coordinating stock placement and rotation, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting procurement processes. You will also assist with order picking and packing to ensure timely customer dispatch. This is a hands-on operational role that requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality, including imported shipments

Coordinate placement and rotation of stock across the warehouse and multiple sites

Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels at all locations

Work closely with procurement to ensure overseas and local orders are correctly processed and organised

Assist with picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders efficiently

Ensure stock is stored according to food safety and quality standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment

Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or operational issues

Skills & Experience

Previous warehouse, inventory, or stock control experience (FMCG or food industry preferred)

Experience managing stock across multiple sites or understanding of multi-location inventory systems is a plus

Knowledge or experience handling imported stock, including documentation and coordination with suppliers and freight agents, highly regarded

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Comfortable with manual handling and physically active tasks

Forklift licence required

Proficient with basic computer and inventory management systems

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
