The role

Rostrevor Group is seeking experienced Quarry Operators to join our well-established team in Adelaide, South Australia. As a Quarry Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our quarry, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality construction materials. Key responsibilities

Operate heavy machinery such as front-end loaders, excavators, and haul trucks to extract, transport, and process raw materials

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Monitor and adjust the production process to maintain quality and efficiency

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the quarry site clean and organised

Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

Collaborate with the wider quarry team to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quarry Operator or in a similar heavy machinery role

Proficiency in operating a range of quarry equipment, including front-end loaders, excavators, and haul trucks

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Valid driver's licence and forklift or heavy rigid truck licence preferred

Australian work rights required for this position
