📍 Sydney-Based Field Senior Security Technician | Local Tier 1 Clientele | $130K Package + Vehicle

About the Role

This is a field-based senior technician position focused on the full delivery lifecycle of access control and intruder systems. The role centres around high-security, multi-site environments, primarily supporting large-scale infrastructure and facility projects across metropolitan Sydney. You'll play a key part in commissioning and fault resolution, while also acting as a technical lead for escalations, testing, and site handovers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primarily service, as well as commissioning of enterprise access control and alarm systems (including Gallagher, Integriti & Tecom)
  
  
• Lead fault-finding, programming, and system commissioning for major commercial, government or institutional projects
  
  
• Liaise with project managers and delivery teams to ensure timelines and compliance benchmarks are met
  
  
• Provide on-site technical support and walk-throughs for clients and stakeholders
  
  
• Maintain documentation, test records, and commissioning paperwork across project phases

Candidate Requirements

• Current Gallagher certifications and proven field experience with Service + Commissioning is a MUST

• Strong background across security system installation, service, and commissioning
  
  
• Proficient in site fault-finding, controller configuration, and structured cabling
  
  
• Good understanding of local compliance practices and site documentation standards
  
  
• Current NSW Security Licence and Open Cabling Licence (required)
  
  
• Professional communication skills and ability to work independently
