The Role:
Due to upcoming succession planning, the firm is looking for an experienced property and commercial lawyer to step into a key client-facing role. You’ll take over an existing client portfolio and enjoy a genuine pathway to partnership in the near term.

The work is broad and interesting, including:

• Residential and commercial property sales and acquisitions
• Off-the-plan, subdivisions, easements and development work
• Commercial and retail leasing (including shopping centre leasing)
• FIRB, GST and stamp duty issues
• Body corporate, CMS/BMS and management rights matters
• Agricultural and rural transactions
• General commercial and corporate work, trusts and business sales
• Wills, estates and small dispute matters (as desired)

This is a role for a capable all-rounder who enjoys variety and client relationships as much as the legal work itself.

About You:
You’ll ideally have:

• At least 5 years’ PAE in property and commercial law (more senior applicants very welcome)
• Strong technical ability with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and running matters independently
• Interest in developing a practice and moving into partnership
