House Keeper – Clear Mountain (Samford area) – Contract Long Term

We're looking for a reliable, mature, and detail-oriented house keeper to help keep our home fresh and sparkling. This is a long-term role, so we're after someone looking for stable and ongoing work.

About Us:
We're a busy family of five (kids aged 7, 9, and 11) who are not usually home during the day. We live on acerage and love our wildlife and are fully maxed running our own businesses, so we're looking for someone trustworthy and capable to help us keep the home in order.

Duties include:

General cleaning of all rooms (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surfaces)

Bathrooms and toilets (scrub, disinfect, restock)

Kitchen (benchtops, appliances, sinks)

Bedrooms (beds made, tidy, dust/vacuum)

Laundry (washing, folding, and ironing clothes)

Outdoor tiled areas (water blasting / deep cleaning as required)

Windows, mirrors, and glass doors

Cleaning of a separate guest house when required

Any other general household cleaning tasks as needed

Bonus:

We have a couple of friendly puppies, so you'll need to be comfortable around dogs — must love dogs! 🐶

Hours & Pay:

9am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday

Choose your hours that suit 2 to 4 days each week

Initially there is lots to do and eventually it might be a couple days a week to maintain

$40 per hour – offered at the higher end of the scale for someone who can consistently deliver an excellent job and work autonomously

Initial paid trial period of 2 weeks to make sure it's the right fit for both sides

About You:

Mature, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Must have cleaning experience

Minimum 2 years of professional cleaning or housekeeping experience

Must have rights to permanently work in Australia

Comfortable and happy around dogs

Strong attention to detail with pride in your work

Able to manage tasks independently without supervision

Looking for long-term, ongoing work

Current police check required (or ability to obtain one before starting)

Own reliable transport and valid driver's licence (essential due to location)
