East Maitland Holistic Psychology Clinic is expanding, and we are excited to welcome two new psychologists to our growing team. Whether you're looking for a full-time position or contracted work (minimum 4 days/week), we invite you to become part of our compassionate and collaborative clinic.

About Us

East Maitland Holistic Psychology Clinic is a small, inclusive, and nurturing practice currently undergoing an exciting expansion to a larger, purpose-designed space by the end of the year.

We pride ourselves on delivering evidence-based, client-centred care in a non-judgemental, safe, and welcoming environment. Our therapeutic approach is built on the values of acceptance, trust, collaboration, and safety, empowering individuals of all ages to reach their full potential through self-awareness and holistic growth.

We work with clients under Medicare, Workers Compensation, NDIS and privately referred ensuring a broad and rewarding clinical experience for our team.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide:

Individual therapy using evidence-based approaches

Psychological assessments and diagnostic services

Tailored treatment planning and progress monitoring

Risk assessments and clinical documentation

Reports for relevant stakeholders and regulatory bodies

Ethical and professional client care across a diverse caseload

You’ll be supported by a close-knit team, with access to regular supervision, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA

Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number (for Mental Health Care Plan services)

Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy to clients across varied age groups and backgrounds

Proficiency in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, EMDR, Trauma-Focused Therapy

Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

Experience in managing complex presentations and risk

A commitment to ethical, client-centred practice

Ability to adapt treatment plans and interventions based on client needs and progress

Excellent clinical documentation and report writing skills
