Roxby Downs Health Service is situated approximately 250kms north of Port Augusta. It is a 10 bed (including flex bed) facility. The health service provides an accident and emergency service, as well a general medical, as well has having a wide range of regular visiting outpatient services. About the Role:

Take the next step in your career as a Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager and lead with purpose in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. In this pivotal role, you’ll coordinate and oversee the work of a dedicated nursing/midwifery and multi-disciplinary team, ensuring continuity of care and positive outcomes for patients and clients. You’ll bring your clinical knowledge, leadership, and passion for developing people to build team performance, foster a supportive workplace culture, and drive excellence in practice and service delivery.

About You:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
• Experience in management and leadership roles.
• Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and or midwives.
