Your new role:
Join our dedicated Emergency Department team at Logan Hospital, where you'll play a key role in providing safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to our patients. You will:
- Support Registered Nurses in delivering direct and indirect care within a dynamic emergency environment.
- Assist with patient observation, care delivery, restocking and maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient outcomes.
- Undertake rotating shift work, including weekends, to support 24/7 emergency care services.
About you:
You are an empathetic and team-oriented healthcare professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive and positive workplace culture. You:
- Hold (or are working towards) a Certificate III in a relevant health care discipline.
- Demonstrate compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement.
- Thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and communicates effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Are dedicated to ongoing learning, professional growth, and upholding the Metro South Health values.

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.

We serve an estimated population of 1 million people, 23 per cent of Queensland’s population. We employ more than 10,000 staff and have an annual operating budget of $1.6 billion.
Our catchment spans 3,856 square kilometres and covers the area from the Brisbane River in the north to Redland City in the east, south to Logan and the eastern portion of the Scenic Rim to the border of New South Wales.
