Are you a highly capable and experienced HR Business Partner looking for an immediate temporary assignment?
We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional to provide expert HR consultancy, coaching, and strategic advice to senior leadership across a range of business units within the State Government.

Previous public sector experience is required for this role, as you will need a rapid understanding of relevant government legislation and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

You will provide expert HR advice and high-level support to site leaders and managers across a range of workforce management functions. This is a hands-on operational and strategic role where you will:

• Provide expert advice on sensitive and complex staffing issues and processes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of key policy initiatives related to the project.
• Support the recruitment and deployment needs of staff within your allocated portfolios.
• Apply your knowledge of relevant government legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain data sets to support planning and decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Public Sector Experience: You must have previous public sector experience and a deep understanding of government HR frameworks.
• Technical Expertise: Experience providing high-level technical, operational HR support and advice on complex, critical, or sensitive issues.
• Autonomy: The confidence to work autonomously under broad direction, exercising a significant level of decision-making.
• Data Literacy: Proven experience in collating, maintaining, and applying data and reporting.
• Relationships: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders.
• Previous public sector experience working in a similar position
• A valid National Police clearance within the last 12 months
