About the Company.
With over three decades of experience, this national builder is recognised as one of Australia’s leading commercial contractors, delivering high-end fitout and new build projects valued up to $100M. Operating across multiple sectors including commercial, education, government, and health, they have recently secured a strong pipeline of projects throughout the ACT. As a result, they are looking to grow their Canberra team by appointing an experienced Foreman to join their high-performing site team.
About the Position.
As the Foreman, you will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, supported by a well-structured and experienced delivery team. You will play a key role across upcoming fitout and new build projects from inception through to completion, ensuring WHS compliance and program delivery are achieved to the highest standard.
Duties.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the project site
- WHS management and compliance
- Subcontractor coordination and programme management
- Structures and finishes focus across fitout and new build works
- Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and related site responsibilities
Skills & Experience.
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent
- Proven experience on commercial fitout and/or new build projects
- Strong track record of stability with previous employers
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
