Roster: 5D:2R Monday - Friday (Regular FIFO site work where required, at times can be short notice)

Goldfields Explosives is seeking a skilled LV/Truck mechanic to join our experienced maintenance team based predominantly in/out of Muchea, 45kms north-east of Perth with regular travel to mine sites.

We are looking for a fully qualified trades persons with the following:

Previous experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on light vehicles is essential

Experience with hydraulic systems, welding, trailer repairs, truck, equipment or agriculture is a benefit

Ability to provide leadership and knowledge to apprentices

A strong, positive attitude to work safely in a team environment

Must reside in Western Australian. Preferably NORTH of the RIVER for easy access to our workshop in Muchea

Full Australian Working Rights

Qualifications and skills required:

Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Technology or similar

Minimum 2 years of post-trade experience, working unsupervised

WA C Class Manual Driver's Licence minimum (HR licence desirable)

Experience in the mining or road transport industry desirable

Ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) – Essential

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical - including Drug & Alcohol

National Police Clearance
