About the role

We're seeking a dedicated Butcher Service Assistant to join our team at Foodworks Melton in Melton, VIC 3337. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment and contribute to the success of our specialty food store.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to customers in the butchery department

Preparing and packaging meat products according to customer orders

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the butchery display and work areas

Assisting the butchers with daily tasks and operations

Restocking and replenishing meat and related products on the shelves

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in a butchery or food service environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service

Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately

A keen interest in food and a desire to learn about the butchery trade

Excellent time management and the ability to work well under pressure

A team player with a positive, friendly attitude
