Mechanical Plumber / Welder Pipefitter

MCM Plumbing Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber / TIG Welder Pipefitter to join our Sydney team.

This is a full-time role with a strong focus on steel fabrication and TIG welding (stainless and mild steel) for mechanical services projects. You’ll also work across copper chilled, heating, and condenser water systems as required, giving variety and consistency to your work.

A key part of the role will involve weekend shutdowns and overtime where steel welding and installation is critical. We’re looking for someone who’s not only skilled but also keen to step up as the need arises.

Successful applicants must:

Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in mechanical pipework.

Be a skilled TIG welder (stainless steel & black mild steel).

Be confident with copper installations (chilled, heating & condenser water).

Be able to install main runs and plant pipework confidently.

Be able to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.

Be available and willing for weekend shutdowns and overtime.

Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence and WHS White Card.

Have their own hand tools.
