The Venue

The Belmore Hotel is a Maitland’s leading venue. Recently renovated setting the standard for customer experiences in the area. Operating a busy restaurant, excellent gaming facilities and pumping bar trade. We are a multifaceted venue catering for experiences such as a quick business lunch through to a great night out with friends. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture that positively impacts our customers with first class service, whilst consistently achieving profitable growth by delivering an exceptional overall customer experience.

The Role

Minimum 20 hours per week (availability to work weekends is a requirement)

Serve customers in the bar/restaurant area, including taking orders, preparing and serving drinks, and handling cash transactions

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bar, restaurant and gaming machine areas

Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Adhering to all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

Previous experience working in a similar hospitality or customer service role with restaurant experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Demonstrated experience in bartending within a fast-paced entertainment venue

Competent in cash handling and point-of-sale systems

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certification
