THE COMMITMENT

• Full time work for 18 months
• You’ll earn $24.17 per hour + super
• Positions available in St Ives, Forestville, Ryde & West Pennant Hills

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Deliver quality learning outcomes for children through child-centred, play-based learning experiences that cater to individual interests and developmental stages, as outlined in the approved learning frameworks.
• Support a team of educators to implement programs, follow the EYLF and share the excitement of child-led discovery and support the centre to meet/exceed the National Quality Standards.
• Support healthy eating habits and supervise children during meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Facilitate collaborative activities including arts, music, and physical activities that promote social skills and foster creativity and cognitive development.
• Create long-lasting connections and partnerships with your local community, schools, and families.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone aged 18-26* who is an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident and:

• Is enthusiastic
• Has empathy and emotional intelligence
• Is a reliable team player
• Has strong communication skills
• Is creative and adaptable

Mandatory Requirements:

To work in this role, you’ll need to provide two work or professional references, plus hold (or be willing to get) a current Working With Children Check (or relevant state equivalent) and a Police Check. Y Careers makes it easy by covering the cost and helping you every step of the way.
