We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our school tuckshop team as 2IC (Second in Charge). This role is vital in helping to provide healthy, affordable, and tasty food to our students and staff while supporting the smooth running of the tuckshop.

About the Role:

Support the Tuckshop Convenor in the day-to-day running of the tuckshop.

Step into the Convenor’s role when they are absent.

Assist with food preparation, ordering, stock control, and money handling.

Supervise and support volunteers, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment.

Help maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

About You:

Previous tuckshop, hospitality, or retail experience is an advantage (but not essential).

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Able to work as part of a team and show initiative when required.

Friendly, approachable, and enjoys working with people of all ages.

Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene (training can be provided).

Hours & Conditions:

Expected hours/days –25 hours per week, term time only with the potential to increase in the future

Permanent part-time position.

Reports to the Tuckshop Convenor and P&C Committee.
