About the role

Blakk Sportswear & Apparel PTY LTD. is seeking a dynamic and creative Junior Graphic Design Assistant to join our team based on The Central Coast, NSW. This is a part time role taht could lead into Full Time, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our leading athletic apparel brand.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Senior Graphic Designer in the creation of impactful graphic designs for our product lines and marketing materials

Collaborating with the design team to conceptualise and execute innovative visual solutions that align with the Blakk brand and seasonal style guides

Preparing print-ready files and assets for production, ensuring design files meet technical specifications

Researching industry trends and providing input to design concepts

Organising and maintaining the company's digital asset library

Supporting the broader marketing team with ad-hoc design tasks as needed

What we're looking for

A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field

1-2 years of relevant experience in a graphic design or junior design role, ideally within the apparel or sportswear industry

Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Illustrator.

Strong eye for detail, layout and typography.

Ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior designers.

Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to complete tasks on your own.

A keen interest in the latest design trends and a passion for sportswear and apparel.
