Music Teacher – Greater Western Sydney | Part-Time, Permanent | Term 4 Start

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher for a well-established Islamic college located in Greater Western Sydney. This is a part-time, permanent position commencing Term 4, 2025.

The Music teaching role

We are seeking a qualified Music Teacher to deliver engaging programs across Years 7–12, including elective classes in Years 10 and 11.

You’ll join a collaborative Arts Department that values creativity, performance, and student engagement.

Responsibilities include:

Teaching classroom and practical Music across the secondary years

Leading ensembles and preparing students for performances and showcases

Contributing to co-curricular and whole-school Arts events

Inspiring students’ musical development and creativity

About the right Music teacher:

Qualified to teach Music within the NSW Curriculum

Experienced in teaching secondary students, including elective Music

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Passionate about fostering a love for Music and performance

Hold NESA accreditation and a valid NSW Working with Children Check
